Playing Catch Up

I have gotten so use to writing everyday that not blogging for a few days made feel so guilty. Between doctor appointments, vet appointments, and wedding stuff I have been nonstop for three days. This is the first break I have gotten since Wednesday night.

Wednesday night I had posted a bunch of furniture and other stuff on some local selling pages. I marked the stuff high expecting to negotiate with people for lower prices. I wasn’t expecting people to get into bidding wars and offer more than what I was asking for. Jeremy was impressed that I made over $1,000 in one day. That money will help us so much with the wedding and moving.

Thursday morning I took Gizmo and Sansa to the vet to get them ready for Japan. They both received their microchips and first round of rabies shots.

Thursday afternoon I also went by dental and received yet another packet of papers to fill out for overseas. My appointment is next week. I hope it goes well.

Friday Jeremy had his consultation for the sleep clinic. They are testing him for narcolepsy. They think he may have a mild form of it. I hope we have answers soon. Every new doctor we go to thinks it is something else but no one knows for sure.

Yesterday Harley tried on her flower girl dress. She looks adorable!!

I also went for my wedding dress fitting. Please excuse my face. Jenn was making me laugh and make funny faces.

We have spent today and part of yesterday packing up more of the house. We have over 30 boxes now. It feels weird seeing them multiply. I feel like time is flying by but going so slow at the same time. We are already at the 20% mark for Japan.

1/5 of the way there!!

Jeremy and I are going to Chapel Hill tomorrow to have lunch with my parents and go makeup shopping with my sister. Soon things like this won’t be so easy from the other side of the world.

  1. Going to agree with shopgirlanonymous, Harley’s flower girl gown is adorable. Of course, the bride-to-be is quite pretty too! And pardon your face, whatever for? Smiles are great, and look even better on bride-to-be’s who are rocking their wedding gown!

    1. Thank you so much! We still have alot to go through and will probably have a yard sale when things warm up. I’m trying to make things easier for us because after the wedding I feel like our lives will be on fast forward until we leave. I can’t believe it is only 3 weeks away!!!
